Quality of Life

Quality of life, it's not about material (wealth - how much money u've got, how rich u are), honer, great status, & empowerment. Quality of life is the essence in ur life; of what u really seek for in this life; the real meaning, the real purpose of what u've been searching for in ur entire life (what u really want!).

People who got the quality of their life : appreciate their life, enjoy n living their life well, get the real happiness from deep inside their heart (not a fake one!).

Quality of life doesn't mean having wealth, power, or intelligence. It's matter of how much u appreciate ur life, how much love u give and receive from others, and how much the joy n happines u've got from it.

Happiness, Freedom, Wealth, Status n Power...
Which one do u chooose?

Between Teory n ReaL Life

There so many teories in life. Philosophy here, philosophy there...
U've read so many philosophies, u've learn so many teories.
U've known them so well till u can recall it in ur mind over and over again,
but when u facing the REAL life, none of them can be used!
Teories or what they so called PHILOSOPHY ...
in this real life, it's DEFINITELY DIFFERENT!
Coz when u were facing the real one in ur life, all those teories just blew awayy...
Eventhough maybe some of them were true, but still u can't just depend on those teories while u're facing the complexity of ur own REAL LIFE!

Dreams = Happiness+Success

Everyone has a dream. Everyone want to reach that dreams they've been keeping, (maybe) since they were child.That's why there are people who keep fighting and never give themself up until they reach their dreams.
I used to had a lot of dreams. I think one person can have more than one dreams; something they wanted to be, something they wanted to have, something they wanted to reach, next in their future.

When i was child, i dreamed to be a fashion model, walking in catwalk.
When i was teenage, i still dreamed to be a model, but i was thinking about being a career woman.
When i was in college, i wanted to be a successful business woman (some chic business woman, definitely! ;p).
Now, my dream is to pursue the happiness and success.

I dun know for sure, since when this thought come into my head, brighten and open my mind about this conception about 'dreams'.
In my opinion, this is not about 'what' you wanted to be, 'what' you had dreamed (and until now, you still has that 'will' to reach that dreams!), or how you might think that you got yourself some 'ridiculous' dreams (that you are afraid to let people know about your dreams, 'coz you think they would laugh at your dreams, coz they think it's not realistic).

At this moment, what i do and have now just so far away than what i've been dreaming before. But, i'm grateful for what i am this time. Eventhough i can't reach that dreams, but there are still another thing 'worth' replace that dreams i have had before.The important thing is, i am happy.

This is one great phrase i got and still hanging around my mind (i couldn't remind where did i get this phrase before??? ;p) :
" Success is to get whatever you want, Happiness is to accept whatever you have."

By this, i don't mean to stop someone to keep pursuing their dreams.
My point is when you get yourself down and still push yourself too hard just try to fulfill your own dreams;
when you are stuck in some thought that you think you are a loser only because you can't fulfill your dreams till this moment,
just stop that thought, and get another conception about REACHING YOUR OWN DREAMS.
Anyway, they can make you feel better..!

I WILL MOVE THE ROCK

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light and the Savior appeared. The LORD told the man he had work for HIM to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The LORD explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might.

This the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.

Seeing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, Satan decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man's mind such as: "You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn't budged. Why kill yourself over this? You are never going to move it."

Thus giving the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure, these thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man even more. "Why kill myself over this?" he thought. "I'll just put in my time, giving just the minimum effort and that will be good enough."

And that he planned to do until one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his troubled thoughts to the GOD. "LORD," he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?"

To this the LORD responded compassionately, "My friend, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to me, with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewed and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. Yet you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and
to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. This you have done."

"I, my friend, will move the rock," says the LORD.

At times when we hear a word from GOD, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what GOD wants is just simple obedience and faith in HIM...

"By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains; but it is still GOD who moves the mountain."

An Old Man and His Dog

An old man and his dog were walking down this dirt road with fences on both sides, they came to a gate in the fence and looked in, it was nice - grassy, woody areas, just what a 'huntin' dog and man would like, but, it had a sign saying 'no trespassing' so they walked on.

They came to a beautiful gate with a person in white robes standing there. "Welcome to Heaven" he said. The old man was happy and started in with his dog following him.

The gatekeeper stopped him. "Dogs aren't allowed, I'm sorry but he can't come with you." "What kind of Heaven won't allow dogs? If He can't come in, then I will stay out with him. He's been my faithful companion all his life, I can't desert him now.

" "Suit yourself, but I have to warn you, the Devil's on this road and he'll try to sweet talk you into his area, he'll promise you anything, but, the dog can't go there either. If you won't leave the dog, you'll spend Eternity on this road " So the old man and dog went on.

They came to a rundown fence with a gap in it, no gate, just a hole. Another old man was inside. "Excuse me Sir, my dog and I are getting mighty tired, mind if we come in and sit in the shade for awhile?" "Of course, there's some cold water under that tree over there. Make yourselves comfortable "

"You're sure my dog can come in? The man down the road said dogs weren't allowed anywhere." "Would you come in if you had to leave the dog?" " No sir, that's why I didn't go to Heaven, he said the dog couldn't come in. We'll be spending Eternity on this road, and a glass of cold water and some shade would be mighty fine right about now. But, I won't come in if my buddy here can't come too, and that's final. "

The man smiled a big smile and said "Welcome to Heaven."
"You mean this is Heaven? Dogs ARE allowed? How come that fellow down the road said they weren't?"

"That was the Devil and he gets all the people who are willing to give up a life long companion for a comfortable place to stay. They soon find out their mistake, but, then it's too late. The dogs come here, the fickle people stay there. GOD wouldn't allow dogs to be banned from Heaven. After all, HE created them to be man's companions in life, why would he separate them in death?"

Moral Lesson:
Human beings always SUSPECT that God has the same way of thinking as us, such as God will kick an animal. God will take side to one religion, God will punish those who don't worship God the way one religion teaches, etc. In the reality, who knows? Only heaven knows. :)
